An excellent career opportunity is currently available for an Advanced Engineer / Scientist – Renewables and Hydroprocessing Technologies within Honeywell India Technology Center located in Gurgaon, India. This position offers an excellent technical opportunity to champion the development of new catalysts and processes for Honeywell UOP’s hydroprocessing and renewables Technologies.
Accountabilities of the Position:
Follow HS&E policies and guidelines, and ensure that pilot plants and laboratory operations are conducted in accordance with HS&E procedures
Lead New Product Development (NPD) programs and deliver the programs as per agreed timelines in renewables and hydroprocessing technologies
Lead pilot plant experimentation and lab work and drive model-based design of experiments approach to bring effectiveness and agility.
Provide technical support to sales and sales support departments for enabling commercial launch of solutions
Implement productivity and cycle time reduction measures for faster R&D projects delivery
Interface with other functions in R&D like research, manufacturing, process design and development, material characterization etc. to deliver assigned development programs.
Develop new ideas and file invention disclosures to strengthen the intellectual property for technology area
Qualified candidate must have:
Bachelor’s or master’s or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering or Masters/PhD in Chemistry from a reputed institute.
5- 8 years of relevant experience in renewable fuels and or hydroprocessing technologies.
Prior relevant experience in technology development/commercialization or technical services or engineering or research roles.
Strong interest in R&D work.
Strong technical skills for conducting experimentation and experimental data analysis.
Additional Skills
Strong organizational communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability in problem solving and support development projects.
Strong quantitative and analytical ability.
