Introduction:
This business line position coordinates all activity involved with supply of replacement parts and services for pump and cyclone equipment in the designated MA. Support areas include pricing, training, technical support and development. This position’s main purpose is to direct the services organization for the Pump BL and help the market area sales team(s) or appointed distributor(s) drive and grow the Pumps, Cyclones, Valves and Slurry Hoses services business.

Main Responsibilities:
Wears and spares sales volumes and margins
Services and LCS development and margins
Quality
Warranties follow-up and cost reduction
Cooperation with MA´s and ensure sales volumes and margins on wears, spares and services are achieved

To succeed:
Ideal candidate would be B-Tech (Mechanical) or Graduate in any stream with 4-6 Yrs of relevant experience in after sales support team
High level of computer skills is essential – Excel, Word, Power Point, etc.
Knowledge of Power BI, Salesforce and/or SAP is an asset
Provide complete spares, parts, and services packages to our Customers at the lowest total cost of owernship to the Customer, and the highest possible margin
Help to develop, and then implement and execute required business plan
Develop pricing and margin levels, utilizing company established parameters (also utilizing feedback from Market Area Managers, Distributors, Representatives and Customers)
Implement global pricing guidelines and, if required, adjust to local market conditions (as approved and warranted based on competition, installed base, targeted category campaigns, etc)
Provide the necessary training tools (either directly, or coordinated with MOTA resources) to help ensure market area sales team and third party distribution partners are competent to effectively sell spares, rebuilds and services.
Identify, assess, and coordinate product development opportunities that may include parts bundling programs, new spares products, retrofits, services, LCS, etc.
Participate in promotion of monitoring competitor activity in the market area with respect to pricing, new products, customer supply agreements, services capabilities, etc. Position will work jointly and in support of market sales personnel to develop ways to counteract and mitigate the competitions’ efforts.
Works to ensure all related company intellectual property is controlled and protected.
Cooperate on the digital channel (my.metso.com) development to complement coverage of the global customer base
Support MA to actively manage the installed base in order to optimize wears&spares inventory levels and locations
Support BL on Inventory Management by analyzing product line stock to achieve the required level of wears&spares availability, critical and OSMI parts.
Assists with management of Consignments stock
Travel (both domestic and international) may be required as needed
Performs other miscellaneous duties and/or other special projects as required. Examples: Foundation project; PQP tool development; Pumpdim tool development.
