Responsible for layout development of advanced Analog and Mixed Signal IPs, that includes specification discussions (with SoC teams and customers), feasibility analysis (with quick turn-around time, accurate area estimation), layout design and verification of these IPs. This involves
Understand functional requirementsProficiency in EDA tools for AMS layoutAutomation to ensure continued efficiency in productivity and qualityCustomer InteractionKnowledge SharingSilicon debug and analysisExploration of new and latest EDA toolsInnovation

Profile

Must Have:Expertise in Analog layout design techniquesGood understanding of CMOS and VLSI technologies (device physics and layout effects and sub-micron effects).
Strong understanding Matching, EMIR, Layout parasiticsExpertise in latest EDA tools
– Proficient in usage of all EDA tools used in analog mixed signal layout design (e.g. Cadence – Virtuoso L, XL, GXL, PLS extraction tools, EMIR analysis, PERC)
Good Debugging and Analysis skillsGood understanding of ESD, Latchp-up and CDM from IP design point of viewExcellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with others
Good to have:
Automation skills (expertise in SKILL and scripting languages)
Adaptable, Flexible, Creative and capable of working independently as well as a team player. Should have a strong sense of urgency.
