Some of the responsibilities of our Husbandy Technicians include,

Perform day-to-day procedures including but not limited to small animal handling, husbandry, euthanasia, process caging and bottles, sterilization, maintenance, and cleaning. These operations may involve multi-tasking, lifting of greater than forty pounds, standing or sitting for long periods of time and repetitive procedures.
Attends regular meetings and briefings regarding preclinical studies as required.
Assists in laboratory activities as needed
Follows all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Performs other duties as assigned.

Preferred qualifications:

High School diploma
Knowledge and training in animal research
Good record keeping
Ability to work in a fast pace team environment
