Job Description : We are looking for an assembler to join our manufacturing team in Houston TX!
Established in 1968, Lubrication Systems Company (LSC) is the world leader in Oil Mist and Oil Purification equipment. Acquired in 2019 by RelaDyne Reliability Services, LSC’s time-tested and proven equipment brands Lubrimist®, ThemoJet® and MistLock® are now available through RRS.
Please be mindful this is a temp-to-hire position.
· Assemble small equipment in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
· Rework and/or repair field equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
· Operates crane/forklift/pallet jack to maneuver parts or equipment within a workstation and/or testing area
· Uses appropriate tools to assemble and fasten all parts of the equipment per engineering and quality standards
· Wires all necessary wires correctly and safely
· Read LSC prints, electrical schematics, P&ID, Assembly Drawings; checks shop orders/bill of materials to ensure that all necessary parts are accounted for; and informs supervisor of any shortages in parts or hardware
· Uses appropriate tools to assemble and fasten all parts of the equipment per engineering and quality standards
· Work in a team environment to collaborate and improve manufacturing efficiencies
· Verifies that everything from the shop order is completed prior to signing off on each unit
· Maintains a clean and safe work area for the entire department, by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
· Additional duties may be assigned, dependent upon location and product line
Knowledge Skills & Abilities Requirements
· High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
· Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings, bills of materials, and other written instruction
· Understanding of basic hand, electrical, and power tools
· Communication skills and computer software knowledge skills as MS Office
· Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
· High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
· Availability to work overtime and weekends when needed
Physical Requirements:
· Vision: Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus. Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often small
· Hearing: perceiving the nature of sounds with or without correction
· Talking: expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word
· Regularly lift and/or move objects 30-75lbs occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
· Climbing ladders, stairs and ramps
· Balancing, pushing and pulling
· Crouching, kneeling, reaching and grasping objects
· Walking: move about inside the manufacturing floor and/or branch facilities as well as airport/travel needs
· Sit/Stand: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 100 percent of the time
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 – $22.00 per hour

10 hour shift
