We are seeking candidates for an Assistant Machine Operator to be our next team member atour Hexacomb division in Arlington, TX.
JOB Summary – Safely operate industrial equipment to make high qualityHexacomb product. Includes machine setup, control of product quality, operatingforklift or clamp truck, and data entry into our operations management software.
JOB REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED.
Good communication skills.
Pre-employment background and drug test.
Machine operator experience.
Some computer skills.
Acceptable reading and math skills (simple addition, multiplication, and division)
Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a packaging or other manufacturing environment is preferred.
Forklift experience a plus.

Job Responsibilities:

Must be committed to working safely, following the company rules and helping identifyopportunities for a safer workplace for everyone.
Must be a Team Player, helping out in any department.
Ensure the quality of product produced in all regards, using simple measurements
Operate Forklift or Clamp Truck
Train other employees when needed.
Understand and handle all aspects of paperwork, quality control, and data entry.
Be open to trying new ideas, all the time.

Knowledge,Skills & Abilities:

Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.
Ability to share ideas with others to solve problems of essential importance.
Work with a sense of urgency to reduce downtime of machines.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and handle multiple requests simultaneously.

Pay and Benefits:

Pay Range $19.75 to 24.50 based on skills and experience
Excellent benefits package (Health, Dental, Vision)
Company-paid life insurance
401k plan with company match
Retirement Savings Plan
1.5 pay over 8 hours, over 40 hours and weekends
1.5 pay on holidays, plus additional overtime over 8 hours on holidays.
