Job Summary: To create, tender, and track loads using the available tools and information
Essential Functions / Process Responsibilities; other duties may be assigned
Works under direct supervision and from detailed verbal and written instructions
Develops and applies basic skills in procedures, techniques, and tools, appropriate to area
Inbound Planning (Domestic/International)
Tracks and monitors all inbound activity on HEB, Parkway, and 3rd party carriers’ daily activity
Develops and utilizes basic knowledge of available business units and their geographical areas of operations to create loads
Develops and utilizes basic knowledge of LTL consolidation of multiple products from multiple customers to create loads
Develops and utilizes basic knowledge of different carrier resources available to create loads
Customer Service
Communicates with suppliers/vendors, supply chain Partners, and appropriate RSC with any quantity or date changes
Reports any potential late arrivals to procurement & the warehouse operations
Provides first level customer service to resolve routine questions and problems
Escalates issues outside parameters to appropriate parties
Education and Experience preferred
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
1-3 years of office experience preferred
Demonstrated PC skills to include MS Office
Customer service experience preferred
Key Competencies preferred
Effective written / verbal communication and presentation skills
Strong organization and time management skills with ability to multi-task and attention to detail
Physical and Other Requirements
Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment
Work extended hours; sit for extended periods
Work rotating schedules
