BCN plays a critical role in supporting Bain’s case teams globally to help with analytics and research across all industries, for corporate cases, client development, private equity diligence or Bain intellectual property. The BCN comprises of Consulting Services, Knowledge Services and Shared Services.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH:
This position is for an Emerging Project Leader (EPL) role in ‘Founder’s mentality and CEO Forums’ team within the Strategy teams that works with senior stakeholders across the globe. The EPL, with direct support from Manager, directly engages and leads discussions with key client stakeholders including Partners, Directors, Sr managers and Case teams working on diverse set of Strategy products/ capabilities and internally with BCN stakeholders including Director and Manager, while leading a team of Associates and Analysts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Founder’s mentality team develops research-based frameworks, case studies and CEO insights across emerging strategic issues. The team is the custodian of the FM diagnostic survey and manages Bain’s CEO Forums initiative—critical pillar of strategy practice’s commercialization strategy. Key work-streams include:

with Strategy practice on IP development and drive thought leadership on Strategic initiatives for client CEOs; helps client run a self-assessment across multiple aspects of strategy
Actively planning, executing and participating in Forums with CEOs of leading firms and start-ups across 30+ global markets
(e.g. recruiting, training etc.)

ABOUT YOU:

MBA with min. 2 years of relevant experience in research and analysis, management consulting
Experience of leading a team of 2-3 members on multiple work-streams; providing thought leadership and sound business judgment to drive the team’s analysis further
Ability to quickly come up to speed on different businesses and perform research and analysis across all geographies and industries with quick turnaround
Ability to quickly generate strong hypothesis, drive open-ended research and analysis, generate highest quality insights, with targeted story-lining and triangulations
Strong preference towards high proficiency in business writing with experience of working with top leadership (equivalent to partners and EVPs)
