Position : AutoCAD Drafter

Job Description : We are looking for a detail-oriented person who has mastered the fundamentals of AutoCAD. You should be able to read drawings and create working drawings from concept sketches and architect drawings. You will be working with the sales team, engineers and customers to development presentation drawings and final drawing sets for installation.
As an estimator, you will be trained to design storage systems and the various components used. You will be responsible for developing bills of material and working with dozens of suppliers, as well as engineers and freight companies to develop cost estimates used for sales proposals to customers.
Applicants will be required to understand Excel and have excellent math and computer skills. You should have a command of the English language and have good writing skills. We are looking for team players that are self-motivated and complete assignments on time.
We are a fast-growing company with innovative product lines. We serve clients nationwide and are based in Aliso Viejo, CA with locations in Texas and New Jersey. We help our customers to increase their revenues and profits by helping them utilize their production, storage, and distribution space more efficiently and safely. We design, supply, and install racking systems for warehouses including ASRS and AMR systems. We also supply safety products and services.
Compensation is commensurate based on experience and includes a salary, plus incentive plan. Medical, dental, vision insurance is included as well as a 401k programs. A background in storage racking systems is a plus.
There is excellent potential for advancement into positions such as project management or sales for the individual who has mastered Auto-Cad and Estimating.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
