Job Description : Entry Level CAD Drafter/Design Technician for San Diego, CA!Starting at $59,000 Salary +
Are you currently looking for your future career? REC is actively looking for an Entry Level Design Technician to join our team in San Diego, CA. The ideal designer would work directly under the senior designers and engineers on a supportive role and will require little direct supervision. Responsibilities:
Ability to use computer-aided drafting tools such as AutoCAD & AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation, technical handbooks, utility standards, tables, and calculators
Confer with team members to resolve problems and create construction documents
Learn to prepare quantity take-offs in a professional and organized manner
Meet client and NV5’s requirements and standards
Manage and maintain design records and files
Learn to complete as-built drawings
Ability to fulfill assignments that require independent judgment and evaluation
Able to work semi-independently with little supervision
Qualifications:
0-2 years’ experience in the utility, electrical, or civil industry
High school diploma
Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Fundamental training in the use of computer-aided drafting software, including CAD Suite, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Revit
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $59,000.00 per year
