We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of AVP-Finance Systems Operations.
Principal responsibilities:
Acquire an in-depth understanding of the IFRS9 Impairment Calculation Engine.
Analyze requirements and provide optimal design / solution as part of the change process.
Build SAS programmes/macros as per business requirement / validation rules assigned to the build function.
Ensure that codes are validated before submission to functional test team.
Support peer reviews and guide other developers in the team.
Support testing phase of release ie., functional testing, user acceptance testing to provide clarification if any on how the solution is built for the requirement given.
Support members of the management team and project stakeholders in the overall change process.
Support production support team during production runs and is able to assist in fixing issues with quick turnaround.
Requirements
B.E./B.Tech (Computer Science/Information Technology)
Certificate in SAS / SQL and related programming languages preferable.
Experience in development activity using SAS Enterprise Guide (EG) using advanced functions
Hands on experience on other SAS tools like SAS Data Integrator (DI), Visual Analytics etc is desireable.
Knowledge on Qliksense, Tableau and Big Data is preferred.
Knowledge of software development life cycle and project management life cycle in an agile environment
Must have worked on Finance System Implementation projects
Must have excellent attention to detail, be able to work within tight deadlines and within high pressure environments
Proven evidence of strong communication skills used to successfully lead, coordinate and conclude business discussion sessions
Ability to initiate and drive discussions with key stakeholders to effective conclusion
Capable of organizing and managing day to day activities/initiatives for self & team independently
Ability to take day to day operational decisions on critical tasks for self & team independently
Good team player with proven ability of working with colleagues within/outside of own functional area/team
Ability to multi-task on activities within & outside of the immediate functional area/team
Demonstrated capability to learn and improve self & team’s performance on an on-going basis
Capable of undertaking transfer of knowledge through training/coaching within & outside of team
