Position Overview
The Babysitter is responsible for providing dependable, safe, and quality child care for children 4 and under during worship services.
Essential Job Functions
Responsible for providing age-appropriate care which may include: feeding, changing diapers, escorting to the bathroom, maintaining a safe environment, putting children down for naps, holding, or sitting with and cheerfully interacting with children through games, stories, play and prayer.
Plans and carries out activities to engage children.
Assists in potty training.
Ensures children are released only to an appropriate adult as noted on registration form.
Provides Christian-based, age-appropriate entertainment.
Supervises any additional babysitter staff.
Ensures the nursery is left in a clean and organized manner
Position Requirements
Safe gatherings qualified (certified?)
Experience in caring for children between the ages of 0-4
Must be reliable and available:
Sunday mornings from 9am – Noon
Wednesday evenings from 6pm – 8pm
May work other worship services as requested
Cell phone for contacting parents in case of emergency
First Aid training required
Background check required
Other Skills/Abilities
Leadership skills
Ability to engage children and adults with a polite, friendly, and courteous manner
Problem solver
Bi-lingual a plus

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
San Antonio, TX 78215: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
Babysitting: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
CPR Certification (Preferred)
