Position : Behavioral Health Technician(full-time and part-time)

Job Description : The Kirkbride Center is seeking Behavioral Health Technicians (BHTs) to provide direct care to patients who are managing addictive disease disorders, chemical dependency, psychiatric disorders and other co-occurring illnesses. We are seeking caring and compassionate people interested in working with persons who are struggling with addiction. The BHT working under the direction of the charge nurse or shift director, will ensure the program is operated in a safe, orderly and therapeutic manner.
BHT Pool must work at least 3 shifts a month including one weekend a month.
Requirements:
Minimum of 12 college credits from an accredited college or university plus two (2) years of experience providing direct care in the human services/mental health field or BA in Mental Health/Human Services (Psychology, Counseling,Sociology, Criminal Justice) plus one (1) year experience providing direct care in the human services/mental health field.
