Job Description
The DB Benefits Administrator is responsible for operational tasks associated with defined benefit plans in compliance with plan provisions. The Administrator assists in maintaining pension data, payment and payroll administration and calculates benefits. The Administrator will be expected to pursue continued education by taking and passing professional examinations.
Requirements
Research participant records, process payroll, qualifications, payments and reconciliation
Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
Prior experience in DB- Manual Calculations
Well versed with Excel formulas
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Provide support for special projects and other tasks as needed.
Ensures quality service for existing clients by proactively identifying potential problems/solutions and producing timely and accurate work products.
Accurately bills time to ensure client’s billings are correct.
Ensures all work product is reviewed according to Milliman’s peer review guidelines.
Proficiency with respect to all computer systems used in the performance of daily tasks.
Ability to organize and work with detailed pension records
Should be a team player
High integrity and discretion to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive client data
