Position : Birth to Five Helpline Specialist

Job Description : Join the Birth to Five Helpline team! We are looking for an early childhood/mental health specialist to support callers (parents, caregivers, and professionals) with a wide range of questions and concerns about children birth to five.
Job Duties

Maintains a regular schedule for covering the Birth to Five Helpline
Maintains timely data entry.
Enters all Helpline data as calls are taken.
Maintains resource/referral book
Participates in marketing and outreach efforts as requested and approved by supervisor
Provides home visitation services, if needed, to families of infants that live in Maricopa County.
Conducts phone and home visitation services that adhere to the thoughtful and thorough approach utilized by the Birth to Five Helpline
Demonstrates sensitivity to linguistic, cultural, social, economic, individual and role differences among persons and families served.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Social Work, Counseling, or related field with at least five years of work experience. Master’s degree preferred.
Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, E-mail, Excel, etc.)
Valid Arizona drivers license.
