Job Description : Do you have PASSION for lingerie and apparel?
Do you like to merchandise and evaluate soft lines? This is more than an office job. We need an experienced apparel person who can evaluate materials (the cut, quality, and the style) and dig in to the product and merchandise and process the buys. Can you evaluate sell thru and trends report? Merchandising experience is a huge PLUS!! You will be working in the office, the stores, the DC, and on future (post COVID-19) buying trips. Must have soft lines experience. Do you have the passion??
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Evaluate and process purchase orders for assigned departments.
Runs reports according to assigned schedules on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Assists distribution center in weekly transfer requisitions to direct stores.
Prepares recap reports for the company executives related to sales, gross profit and inventory results.
Works closely with the distribution center on data entry support, SKU uploads and system maintenance and updates.
Maintains inventory data as assigned.
Follow up on purchase orders, back orders, return authorizations, return credits, mis-ships from suppliers, etc.
Assist buyer in new/old product sales to determine the continuation and or life cycle of product lines.
As necessary and when assigned, tracks vendor orders to ensure the timely delivery of product to the distribution center
Maintains strong communication and professional relationships with various organization levels including the Distribution Center staff.
Other duties may be assigned, as we work to the needs of the company.
Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of inventory software and/or order processing systems
Typing ability of 40-50+ words per minute.
10-key by touch
Intermediate Proficiency in MS Office Software specifically 2016 MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
Proven ability to maintain established deadlines
Ability to multi-tasks and prioritize projects in a fast paced environment

Education and/or Experience – High School Diploma or Equivalent. 1-2 years’ experience in retail customer service or accounting.
Language Skills – Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Mathematical Skills – Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability – Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
