Job Description : Camera Room specialist.
SECURITY WATCH
This position requires someone who is hard working, detailed orientated and is excellent at multitasking. The ideal candidate will be experienced in this area and knows how to diligently monitor each floor of the store from the camera room and report any suspicious activity to the officers in store, and to store management.
This job requires focus, patience, confidence and a keen eye, to be able to help the store prevent loss. Theft, acts of violence, or unusual activity must be observed closely, and this can only be done if the camera room operators are watching closely throughout the store’s hours of operations.
The camera room operator must also complete security watch paperwork daily to ensure all activity, including theft, voids, returns, and incidents are written down daily. This helps to prevent shrinkage, loss prevention, and internal theft.
