Position : Capital Projects Scheduler (small-mid)
Job Description : We are currently seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to provide schedule support for Small through Mid sizes Capital projects at our Texas Gulf Coast facilities. The position can be located at either our Houston Office or Victoria Texas facility.
Responsibilities:* Accountable for development of detailed resource loaded schedules supporting project management, engineering, and construction activities for a small, and mid-cap projects at our Gulf Coast facilities.
* Responsible for working with the Project Managers, Design Discipline Leads, Construction Manager and EPC Contractors to progress, analyse and provide accurate schedule performance during all phases of assigned projects
* Facilitate/Participate Interactive Planning and Schedule Risk sessions with Project teams.
* Integrate/coordinate Project and Turnaround/Outage schedules.
*When required provide “Owners Oversight” for EPC Contractors managed project schedules.
*Provide “Cold Eye” schedule reviews and recommendations for projects assign to other schedulers
*Ensures that Project Control Standards and associated best practices and tools are utilized
*Utilizes tools and best practices to proactively work with project execution to ensure teams and projects are set up for success
Experience and Skills Required: * 5+ years’ experience as a Project Scheduler covering Front End Loading, Design, & Construction (with at least 2+ yrs of that experience at a manufacturing site) within the petrochemical or chemical industries.
* 5+ years of CPM (critical path method) scheduling required
* Experience with Primavera, and/or Microsoft Project
* Experience with Microsoft Office suite of tools including Excel, Power Point, Teams, & SharePoint
* Has current TWIC and willing to travel between Houston, Orange, Longview, and Victoria Gulf Coast sites.
12+ Months Contract Position (Local to Houston or Victoria ONLY)
Projected Start Date: ASAP
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $55.00 – $65.00 per hour
