Job Description : Job Summary:
Under general supervision, performs a variety of clerical duties to receive and disburse cash from and to customers and employees.
Job Duties:
Receives and disperses cash or checks from and to employees at a cashier’s window or register; counts money, issues change, and/or cashes checks.
Posts transactions and merges daily cash receipts by grouping, prepares deposits, classifying and balancing accounts.
Prepares weekly, monthly or quarterly reports as needed.
Performs various bookkeeping duties, stocks and prices merchandise.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or GED is required.
Experience:
Three (3) years of related experience is required.
