Job Description
The candidate will be responsible for:
Leading the steel business with full P&L responsibility and end to end ownership
Handling a multi plant operation within the organisation with all it’s nuances
Having full control of talent and team development within the organisation to steer it towards profitable operations
Liaising with key Internal and external stakeholders necessary for smooth functioning of the setup
Align the business’s trajectory with the larger group to ensure synergies with sister concerns
Effective market positioning of the brand to gain market share and penetrate deeper into the Steel Industry
The Successful Applicant
The Ideal candidate will have:
Experience of leading a Pan India P&L in the Steel Industry
Knowledge and experience of managing multi-plant production setups with huge daily output
A track record of turning business around with strategic oversight and plans
A good techno commercial understanding of the Indian Steel Industry
Experience of serving the Oil and Gas Sector, Government sector and Infrastructure development organisations as clients
Ability to have short, medium and long term business plans to steer the organisation dynamically
