Job Details/ Criteria
Basic Functions/ Job Responsibility:
Mission and Strategy: Strategize and develop industry specific initiatives to scale India’s Cyber preparedness across enterprise verticals and Government Sector in critical information structure
Partner with Government and regulators in policy development and advocacy in security and data protection domains.
Grow India into a Global Hub for Cyber Security, and growing the Security Services and Products ecosystem into a 35 B$ Industry by 2025.
Drive strategic partnerships with Industry and Government for large initiatives and funding.
Partner with Industry and Government to continuously enhance India’s global image.
Explore opportunities for closer industry – regulatory forum and tie ups.
Governance and control: Lead Governance and Compliance as a referral Not for Profit think tank.
Stakeholder management: Build trusted relationships with all industry Members across various verticals and Central and State Government, and Global Think tanks
Evaluate industry and security environment’s needs and conceptualise, lead and win strategic projects.
Build CxO level relationships in both IT and User industries.
Financial performance and viability: Good understanding of accounting, finance and compliance to ensure overall health of the organization
Responsible for raising funds and developing other revenues streams which are necessary to build a corpus for long term sustainability.
Preparing and presenting annual budget and monthly financial statements to the board which accurately reflect the financial condition of the organization.
Operations: Oversee and implement appropriate resources to ensure that the operations of the organization are run well
Hire and manage culturally diverse staff whose skills and thought Leadership reflect the clients DSCI serves.
Efficiently run the administration and day to day operations.
Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience:
Prior experience in successfully running large organization in IT/ITES industry for 20+ years
Must understand Digital Transformation charter of Critical Information Infrastructure Sectors and their evolving regulatory landscape, and able to assess Cyber Risk.
Must have detailed knowledge of cyber and privacy frameworks and business context.
Present to Boards and CxO Audiences across key verticals, on Cyber Security and Privacy strategy and roadmaps.
Must have worked with Government Stakeholders, Regulators in shaping Technology and Cyber Policies
Specifically worked with governmental agencies and has been an influencer in those roles.
Should have strong organisational skills and ability to bring various industry stakeholders together to build agenda on cyber, privacy and related areas relevant for the ecosystem.
A 360Degrees Perspective of the domain from both a Provider and User Enterprise perspective.
Must have an entrepreneurial mindset, with innovative approach to business planning and execution.
Excellent communication and strategic influencing skills.
Good understanding of corporate governance, finance and measures of organization performance.
Ability to apply successful fundraising and networking techniques.
An analytical mind capable for “out-of-the-box” thinking to solve problems.
Collaborative mindset to work with a diverse set of stakeholders.
Possess high standard of integrity and confidentiality.
