Job Description : Role description
We’re looking for a dynamic and skilled generalist to join GreyOrange as Chief of Staff
(CoS) to support our Chief Product & Engineering Officer (CPEO).
Reporting to the CPEO, the CoS will partner with leaders across the company on a
portfolio of activities around strategy and business operations, to drive immediate
impact on the Success of the organization. These activities include defining priorities,
establishing a rhythm of business, driving execution against key priorities, overseeing
program management, improving decision-making, and improving communication
across teams. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a business
management role, preferably having worked in high-growth organizations, with a
special focus on executive-level advising and inter-team collaboration.
This is an 18–24 months role under our Leadership Development Program (LDP) that
will enable the person to take on a fast-paced career and open up several
opportunities with the organization post culmination.
The ideal candidate needs to be excited to join the team while we scale rapidly and
demonstrate comfort with the dynamism that entails. This means being open to
fluidity, being willing to jump in and solve problems beyond the job description and
being passionate about building the organization in partnership with the leadership
team.

Responsibilities

Ensure the leader is working on the most important items for the

company and represent the leader in internal and external meetings

Serve as proxy to the CPEO, effectively representing the leader,

influencing, and driving strategy alignment across various groups

Oversee strategic business initiatives from development through

successful execution under the guidance of senior leadership in the
team

Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program

management, communication, and initiative implementation

Prepare the executive and staff for all business review meetings with

relevant data, intelligence, information , pre-reads etc

Work closely with business finance on budgeting, and financial reporting

for the function; ensuring budgets and resourcing are aligned to top
business priorities

Review, design, and execute on improvements to organization structure,

find knowledge and skills gaps and help address them

Plan agenda for and conduct executive leadership meetings / staff

meetings and develop action plans to address open items

Set up and monitor appropriate business dashboards for the

organization, to highlight key insights and issues that merit attention

Serve as liaison between staff, executives and senior leaders regarding

project reviews, proposals, and weekly updates etc.

Drive focus and accountability within the executive team on day-to-day

basis, work with the team to develop ideas and proposals, and conduct
project plan reviews

Lead and drive cross functional initiatives that are part of the business

strategy

Partner with Talent Acquisition team to lead recruitment efforts for

staffing executive positions in the team. Manage all stakeholders to help
hire for key positions in time

Partner with Internal Communications team to assist the executive with

preparation and dissemination of communication within the
organization including all-hands meetings and townhalls.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar field is desirable

but not mandatory.

6-8 years in a cross-functional business, product, or program

management role, preferably in high-growth organizations

Strong sense of ownership
Proven experience in organizing, collaborating, and building trust across

multiple teams and departments

Ability to influence and persuade executive-level stakeholders
Excellent communicator in written and verbal form with great

presentation skills.

Fast-paced and versatile – strong bias for action
Highly organized – ability to drive people and projects to measurable

outcomes

Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives
Experience in setting up and scaling processes while bringing structure to

ambiguity

Strong business acumen.
‘Do whatever-it-takes’ attitude to be successful.
Ability to handle confidential information with highest level of integrity.
Be willing to travel 20-30% of the time to HQ / customer locations
