Job Description : Coffee Roasting Apprentice / Production Assistant
A 20+ year-old well-established wholesale coffee company located in Chandler, Arizona, seeks a Coffee Roasting Apprentice.
Duties include, but not limited to:
· Roasting coffee
· Roasting equipment & production room maintenance
· Packaging coffee and allied products
· Quality control
· Shipping & receiving product
· Occasional product deliveries in company van
· Inventory assistance
Requirements:
· Experience in coffee or culinary industry preferred
· High school diploma or equivalent, mathematical aptitude
· Computer literacy, MS Word & Excel
· Excellent organization skills
· Ability to lift 50 pounds
· Valid driver’s license, clean driving record
· Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
· Must have acceptable hygiene
· Proven track record of good work attendance and reliability
– A passion for coffee
Compensation / Benefits:
· $16 – $19 per hour (based on experience)
– Sign on bonus available
· Health Insurance
· 401K with company match
· 30 – 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
