Job Description : BASIC FUNCTION:

This position performs a variety of administrative functions necessary to support the relationship management of the commercial lending portfolio. The individual will work with loan officers, customers and other departments, assuring consistent communications in a professional, timely manner. May assist customers and resolve problems concerning commercial relationships in a positive manner. This positions supports a team of Commercial Lenders and also has cross-training support of certain loan operations functions. This is intended as a general description, but duties may differ somewhat between lender assignments.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIALS FUNCTIONS:

Manages the office area of the Loan Officer, serving as administrator and secretary.
Works with commercial loan officer and customers to assist with documentation. Continually works to minimize past due loans, credit & collateral exceptions. Renew existing loans at Loan Officer’s direction.
Assists Loan Officer with annual loan reviews and ongoing customer compliance.
Composes and directs written communication to various people, both internally and outside organization.
Processes letters of technical and confidential nature.
Responsible for the physical flow of paperwork within the department, including filing, handling and dispersing incoming and outgoing mail, updating records and compiling reports.
Arranges appointments and meetings as requested by persons within and outside the financial institution.
Screens telephone calls and visitors.
Strict adherence to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) is required.
