Accountable for overall communication and engagement for activities managed and delivered across all functions and towers within the Enterprise Governance & Continuous Improvement organization. In this role, the Communications and Engagement Coordination will define, plan, and execute the methods of business engagement necessary for successful project delivery through process excellence, including participation in the establishment of toolsets for managing those engagements. This role is expected to partner with the EGCI Realization Management and Integrated Projects Delivery teams, Governance Council and Functional COEs, and Corporate IT Leadership teams to ensure successful delivery of projects, governance of existing capabilities, and continuous improvement of process excellence.

Skillsets Required:
Functional / Technical Skills:
Strong writing skills in the areas of corporate communications, project communications, learning programs

Strong knowledge of business engagement concepts and their application to tactical execution of portfolio management, learning programs, governance programs, and project delivery

Strong knowledge of communication methods and planning, at various organizational levels, for delivery of both operational and project oriented information, reporting, and metrics

Knowledge of managing business engagement and readiness, with a focus on risk management, through transition of project phases and management of change delivery

Project management experience to ensure adherence to governance, controls and best practices

SharePoint and Microsoft Power BI experience

Soft Skills:
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Develop healthy relationships at different levels of the organization

Ability to communicate complex topics to diverse audiences

Ability to execute through uncertainty and changing priorities

Critical Thinking and Problem Solving; the ability to define a problem, analyze it, and develop a comprehensive recommendation for resolution

Ambition and initiative; the ability to identify a gap or an area “falling between the cracks” and take steps to ensure it is addressed; this may include volunteering to drive an area outside of defined responsibilities but without a clear owner

Balance long-term and short-term objectives

Key Role Responsibilities:
Participate in the definition, planning, and execution of business communication and engagement as relates to portfolio management, project delivery, learning and development and process and solution governance activities

Participate in the definition and execution of various structures and toolsets to manage delivery of EGCI activities, including, but not limited to, portfolio management, learning and development, project management and delivery, and governance

Participate in preparation for portfolio and project management gate reviews

Coordination and participation with the Integrated Projects Delivery teams, Governance Council and GPOs to manage project scope readiness, design and change impact discussions

Participation in communication activities throughout project phases to ensure understanding of the roles and responsibilities of business users at all levels of the organization for timely execution of activities in any particular phase

Development, maintenance, and execution of Readiness playbooks for use across EGCI and projects executed at all levels of the corporation (local, functional, and enterprise)

Adherence to FMC project governance and controls

IT Director Office of the CIO

GPOs, RPOs, Super Users
