Job Description : The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has an exciting opportunity for a talented Computer Security Specialist within the Technology Services Division.

The Network Security Unit (NSU) at DPHHS utilizes various identity and access management tools to provision users for our Department’s various systems. NSU supports over 7,000 users and approximately 180 different applications.
The general duties and responsibilities of the Computer Security Specialist are related to keeping systems safe and ensuring employees and non-employees have the necessary computer access to effectively execute their duties. This position also helps with training other staff and writing procedural documentation, including system access templates. Our Computer Security Specialists support external and internal audit efforts, develop and test identity and access management tools, and records accurate user account information.

Qualifications:
What you can offer us
Knowledge and skill in network administration including skill with Microsoft Active Directory.
The ability to understand technical requirements related to operating systems, networks, applications, and identity management software.
Knowledge and skill with identity management systems including user provisioning and role-based authentication.
The ability to provide effective and professional customer service.
Meet minimum qualifications:
College Degree (Bachelor’s) in Computer Science or a related field.
2 years of directly related experience in computer support including identity management and user provisioning experience.
Other combinations of related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
