Job Description : Sargon is a family-owned company specializing in masonry, stone and steel construction. Sargon Masonry Construction is a full-service land development and commercial masonry contractor specializing in perimeter fencing, retaining walls, masonry structures, entry monuments, footings and many other various design-build retaining wall systems. Licensed Commercial Driver sought to be part of the land development department for Phoenix based masonry company. CDL Driver will support the land development team by maintaining a timely delivery schedule of material and equipment, participating in site clean-up, matching delivery item with paperwork as well as weekly paperwork due to our main office.
Primary Scope Responsible For: * Preparing & Maintaining a timely delivery schedule to jobsites all across the valley. * Material delivery to the jobsites (primarily block for masonry wall construction). * Cleaning up the jobsites as directed * Loading/unloading and properly securing construction equipment for transport (gannons, backhoes, trenchers, compactors, forklifts, etc.) * Quality control for equipment deliveries – making sure the paperwork matches the item delivered. * Preparing and turning in expense reports and timesheets on a weekly basis for Gas Card and Company expenditures. To Be Successful at This Role, You Will Need: * Safety is the utmost importance to Sargon * Must be a team player and have the ability to work with a variety of personalities * Must have and maintain a clean driving record * Must have integrity and the ability to discuss issues openly and honestly with your team * 5 years’ experience minimum * Construction industry experience preferred, but not required. * Attention to detail, organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities, ability to deliver high-quality, time-sensitive work. * Positive, engaged attitude * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Sargon Masonry Construction offers competitive compensation based on experience and skill level. This is either a full-time role, between $60,000 – $70,000 salaried compensation, depending on candidate’s qualifications and experience.
