Reporting to the Global Procurement Organization, the Contingent Workforce Category Lead will be responsible for the strategy and oversight of the contingent labor program for the Americas. This position is a high-visibility, hands-on role that requires extensive experience in managing processes to support temporary agency worker hiring and service-based project engagements. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of contingent workforce and the components required to effectively support it including policies, technology, support team structure.

CW Process Ownership:

Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of the global contingent workforce program, methodology, tools, and infrastructure
Serve as primary liaison on issues between key contingent workforce vendors and internal stakeholders such as Internal Audit, Legal, HR, Accounting, and hiring managers various Product groups
Coordinates with applicable departments to ensure that appropriate processes are implemented and followed
Serves as subject matter expert to refine the Contingent Worker classification and policies, onboarding processes, program adoption and success metrics

Operations:

Oversee the Procurement Support Center (PSC) team that owns ultimate responsibility for procurement systems/processes support and manage incoming help desk tickets, chats, zoom calls, emails, and other possible forms of internal end user communication.
Work closely with hiring managers to identify gaps that affect quality, performance and effectiveness of contingent talent.
Collaborate with IT, HR to streamline system onboarding, off-boarding, equipment provisioning, and identify integration issues between Workday and downstream internal systems.
Serve as the primary point of escalation for internal hiring managers and external vendors supporting the contingent workforce program.
Initiate and independently drive process improvements, resolve issues, and manage stakeholder expectations.
Ensure the satisfaction of the stakeholders through proactively meeting their staffing needs

Who You Are

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; purchasing certifications a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills – able to work effectively as part of a team
5+ years of procurement/purchasing/staffing experience. 5+ years of experience managing a global contingent workforce program.
Understanding of category management, employment laws and various types of contingent workers.
Experience with ERP/P2P (Workday, SAP, Oracle), VMS (Fieldglass) systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a sense of urgency
Communication – write, verbally share/inform, and present to a varied audience.
Customer focus – listen to the needs of employees and internal customers and accommodate needs reasonably, while upholding company’s policies and evolving requirements.
Problem Solving – identify issues, analyze and arrive at a solution creatively in order to achieve the best solution.
Extremely proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Accuracy and attention to detail.

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

Salary Range Transparency

US Remote 90,000 – 125,000 USD per year
