Founded in 1805, the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) is America’s first school and museum of fine arts. Located in center city Philadelphia, PAFA is intimate in scale with a strong sense of community. PAFA’s undergraduate degree offerings include a BFA in Studio Art and a coordinated BFA with the University of Pennsylvania. Graduate programs include an MFA and Low-Residency MFA degree, and a Post-Baccalaureate certificate. PAFA’s museum has an outstanding collection of American art, and the museum actively collects and exhibits contemporary art, including work in new media. POSITION: Continuing Education Student Coordinator
The Continuing Education Student Coordinator will provide administrative and clerical support to the Director of Continuing Education in day-to-day operations of the department, with an emphasis on customer service and financial reporting. Specifically, the Coordinator will manage the billing functions of the school database (Blackbaud) and corresponding reports to PAFA’s financial offices, including entering charges and payments in students’ accounts for CE class registration, as well as compiling and submitting deposit records. Additionally, the Coordinator will act as first point of contact for current and prospective students and will assist CE staff in the preparation and implementation of CE classes and programs, both in person and online.
This is a full-time, hourly position that includes a comprenhensive benefits package.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES

Maintain school database (Blackbaud) for student accounts and billing reporting.
Answer inquiries and handle written and oral correspondence with students, the public, faculty and staff, with a focus on student support and advising.
Provide administrative and clerical support for course and departmental needs, including generating/editing registration and course materials, maintaining records, and filing.
Participate (with other CE staff) in the supervision of online and in-person CE classes, including the support of student and faculty needs
Assist in the creation and editing of publications, promotions and advertising, and registration site content.
Ad hoc duties as required.
