Job Description : Summary
Responsible for activities related to compiling and maintaining accounts payable records. Completes payments and controls expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices. Communicates information that requires explanation or interpretation of moderate importance to the team/unit. Delivers on day-to-day objectives with direct impact on team/unit results with some supervision. Daily challenges are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.
Job Duties
Reviews and analyzes invoices of purchases and expenses.
Applies payments and attaches backup information for payments to suppliers.
Requests and reconciles purchases to vendors.
Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
Matches invoices to accounts and locations by analyzing invoice/expense reports.
Reviews and maintains Accounts Payable reports for accuracy.
Identifies and corrects data entry errors using appropriate quality control methods.
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma or GED.
Two years of relevant experience.
Baylor College of Medicine requires employees to be fully vaccinated -subject to approved exemptions-against vaccine-preventable diseases including, but not limited to, COVID-19 and influenza.
