Job Summary:

The Coordinator, ID Center is responsible for door access change requests, ID Center financial audits, and assisting with game day Point of Sale (POS) support.

Duties & Essential Job Functions:

1. Manages building access changes by verifying that request fulfillment is accurate and correcting any inconsistencies.
2. Assists with the operations of the ID Center by applying new card access requests and/or replacement of lost cards and meal card charge.
3. Provides high quality customer service by analyzing and resolving customer service issues; responding to phone calls, walk-ins and e-mails from both internal and external sources; interpreting and implementing policies and procedures; making recommendations for operations and system improvements.
4. Maintains documentation by collecting, analyzing and reporting operational data; troubleshooting hardware and software issues, tracking actions taken of installation activities; providing reports or auditing activities; making recommendations for solutions and improvements.
5. Posts “Lost Card” charges to student’s financial account.
6. Performs daily financial audits for the ID Center.
7. Aids in the maintenance of the ID Center website.
8. Maintains current and accurate knowledge of Housing, Human Resources, and the Registrar’s office policies and procedures that are applied by the ID Center
9. Assists with support of the POS system during home sporting events (will include some weekend and night sporting events).
10. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Education & Experience
:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

1 year of customer service, office or related experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of organization techniques.

Knowledge of problem solving techniques.

Knowledge of customer service techniques.

Knowledge of basic research techniques.

Knowledge of basic accounting techniques.

Knowledge of basic keyboarding skills.

Knowledge of basic numeric skills.

Skill in some or all components of Microsoft Office.

Skill in Microsoft Windows navigation.

Ability to communicate technical information verbally and in writing.

Ability to review and validate data.

Ability to work independently.

Ability to work some night and weekend sporting events.

Ability to master two enterprise level software packages (CBORD and POS systems).

Physical Requirements (With or Without Accommodations):

Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information.

Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication.

Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions.

Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting.

Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 10 lbs.

Work Environment:

Work is indoors and outdoors and will require nights and weekend (game day support) work hour variability.

This role is an on campus, in-person position.

There are no harmful environmental conditions present for this job.

The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate.
