Job Description : The Company
Rescue is a full-service marketing agency with a mission to make healthy behaviors easier and more appealing. Since our founding in 2001, Rescue has been exclusively focused on researching, developing, and implementing positive social change campaigns in public health. We provide research, strategy, creative, production, web, traditional media, social media, policy change, youth engagement and experiential marketing services to government, non-profit, and healthcare clients in over 25 states and provinces, as well as to federal government agencies.
Rescue’s health behavior change marketing campaigns focus on topics such as tobacco, obesity, substance and alcohol prevention; the promotion of exercise, eating healthy foods, early childhood development, and after school programs; and other topics that promote healthy living. Rescue’s behavior change campaigns focus on diverse populations within teen (13 – 17), young adult (18 – 26), and adult (18+) populations in both rural and urban areas, resulting in a wide variety of campaign styles and strategies.

The Job
Have you ever wanted to use your creative talent to change lives? You are an experienced, Bilingual Copywriter who can think big on any budget, tailor to any medium, write in any voice, and has a book of produced work that’ll back you up. You have an excitement for your craft, a range of cross-channel campaign experience, and a profound desire to cause positive change.
Day-To-Day Activities:
Ideates and writes unique creative in both Spanish and English that satisfies the brief, aligns with the brand’s strategy and contributes to behavior change;
Trans-adapts existing creative campaigns for Spanish-speaking audiences in a way that makes them feel unique and authentic to that audience;
Applies in-depth knowledge of Latin American culture (with heavy emphasis on Mexican lifestyles and habits) to campaign copywriting and image creation;
Contributes to collaborative brainstorm sessions across the creative department including but not limited to: Copywriters, Editors, Developers and Designers.
Manages multiple projects, with the ability to switch from one to the other seamlessly while staying on deadline and within budget;
Lead ideation and copywriting for a wide range of marketing outputs including, but not limited to, short-form video, editorial content, interactive web experiences, social content, experiential activations and traditional broadcast.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED;
Fluent in Spanish with strong grasp of Spanish grammar and spelling;
Proven track record of ideating and writing advertising campaigns uniquely targeted towards Latin American audiences, specifically native Mexicans;
Experience writing audience-facing content for organic, paid social, websites, mobile applications, and paid digital media;
Proven ability to plan and strategize high-profile projects;
A persuasive and confident approach to creativity;
Experience overseeing numerous projects at once;
Experience in social and digital campaigns/engagement tactics;
Intimate familiarity with how brands engage in today’s connected universe;
Ability to brainstorm solo or in groups and develop big ideas from beginning to end;
Excellent writing skills in a broad range of styles including grammar and proofreading skills;
Proven ability to excel in high-stress, fast-paced environments;
Proven ability to quickly identify problems and solve them;
Highly attentive to detail;
Strong verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
3 or more years relevant experience.
Location: Close to a Rescue office, preferably; fully remote can be considered
Status: Full-time

The Fine Print
Environment:
All business-related environments are tobacco-free.
Physical Requirements:
Able to remain in a sitting position for prolonged periods of time and stoop, bend, reach, climb stairs, and move freely throughout the building for the performance of duties. Able to read from a computer or laptop monitor for several hours at a time including fonts of various sizes from a variety of sources. Able to travel nationwide as needed to meet with clients, coworkers, or attend meetings and seminars.
COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate:
All employees hired must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to their first day of employment. This includes employees who telecommute and work remotely. For Pfizer or Moderna, that is two weeks after an employee has received the second dose in a two-dose primary series. For Johnson and Johnson (J&J)/Janssen, that is two weeks after an employee has received a primary single-dose.
