EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
One month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

High School Diplomas and college/university degrees must be obtained from an accredited program or university approved by the United States Department of Education and the Texas Education Agency.

PRIMARY PURPOSE SUMMARY
:
Responsible for processing and distribution of United States Mail, interdepartmental and campus mail for the District.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Picks up United States Mail from Post Office.
2. Receives and processes United States Mail.
3. Distributes United States Mail, interdepartmental and campus mail for the District.
4. Assists the Supervisor and Manager with processing of mail.
5. Assists in Bindery Section.
6. Maintains confidentiality of information.
7. Reports to work on time every day.
8. Performs additional duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Successful completion of a pre-employment physical examination to include vision, hearing, alcohol and drug testing
Knowledge of basic mathematics
Ability to proficiently operate a Postal Meter
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates and general public
Valid Texas Drivers License with driving record that meets the requirements of the District
