Position : Covid-19 Security Screener
Job Description : Currently seeking Covid-19 Door Screeners for screening of patients, staff, guests, vendors, contractors and volunteers entering and gaining physical access to South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS). Screeners will be responsible for appropriately handling entry into the facility and denying access to individuals that do not meet the requirements outlined by STVHCS. Screeners will be responsible for assisting individuals to the information desk directions or basic facility questions during normal duty hours. After normal duty hours the Screener will be responsible for assisting individuals to the Police Desk for directions or information. Screener duties/accountabilities as follows:
Administer and interpret the temperature of individuals utilizing infrared thermometer and monitors thermal camera supplied by VA.
Report individual concerns outside established protocols while remaining cognizant of confidentiality requirements.
Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required within the established protocol required by VA
Immediately report any incident/accident that occurs on VA property immediately to VA police and Safety for proper investigation.
Clean and wipe down screening stands, tables, chairs, and equipment to ensure cleanliness of door screening services.

Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour
