Job Description : Responsibilities:
· Evaluate the financial stability and credit worthiness of potential and existing customers.
· Analyze financial data submitted by customers, or obtained via other means like Experian, Credit Risk Monitor.
· Have a clear understanding of TPI’s policy and procedures, in particular credit policy and procedures.
· Communicate with Credit and Business Unit management, both routinely, and regarding important issues as they arise.
· Assist Cash Applications to correctly process incoming payments.
· Work with Customer Service, Sales and others to resolve issues that create credit blocks, such as discrepancies.
· Periodically review and update customer files/credit lines according to credit policy and procedures.
· Review new and renewing supply contracts, particularly for payment/credit terms, and credit line requirements, Update Master Data in several SAP systems.
· Review accounts receivable aging frequently, and contact delinquent customers to resolve past due amounts.
· Keep credit master text updated with notes from collection calls, and any other relevant data about the account.
· As necessary, and per policy, take more formal steps to collect past due amounts, such as demand letters
· Various reports are prepared monthly for both Finance and Business Unit management, summarizing important credit information. Communication also occurs through regularly scheduled meetings with key Business Unit management.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor Degree – Business/Finance/Accounting.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work well in a team.
· Excellent verbal and communication skills.
· SAP/BW and Microsoft Excel experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
