Description
Summary Description: This position works in conjunction with team members to support the goals of the organization. Provides support to other departments with customer resolution, Mobile/Digital Customer Support, Customer Contact entry, generating reports for Operations and Support System, and ad-hoc reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Researches, monitors, and provides solutions for reported internal and external customer issues from Mobile/Digital, 3rd party Customer Call center, web entries, and letters.
Assists department Supervisor with updating customer care approved Customer Response and email templates.
Participates in Customer Care departmental projects as requested.
Issues customer refunds, rewards, and digital offers as required.
Stays informed and up to date on Company policies and procedures relating to departmental functions in order to make administrative decisions within the limits of approved programs.
Prepares correspondence and other communication materials. Generates reports for internal and external customer requests in a timely manner.
Maintains confidential and non-routine information in a professional manner.
Responds to calls for the department from both internal and external sources.
Maintains departmental files, records, and fulfillment stock.
Actively participates in equitable problem resolution and improved working relationships.
Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
High school diploma/GED equivalent or equivalent work experience

EXPERIENCE:
No experience necessary
Experience in handling multiple administrative tasks
Establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, vendors, and co-workers and foster a team environment

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Ability to communicate well with customers and colleagues
Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information
Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Visio (as applicable)
Ability to work in a team environment
Demonstrated customer service skills
Proficiency in JD Edwards (as applicable)
Ability to communicate well with the general public
Elementary knowledge of practices and procedures in a particular field of specialization in the execution of assigned duties and responsibilities
Elementary understanding of departmental structure and policies of Whataburger Restaurants LLC
