The Role
Mainstay Medical is seeking a
Customer Care Specialist professional to support in the execution of the strategic commercial launch of ReActiv8®in the U.S. The successful candidate will display the ability to provide excellent customer service by meeting or exceeding customer needs. The role reports into the Senior Director, Sales Operations and is based in San Diego, California.
The Customer Care Specialist is responsible for helping our internal and external customers, during established operating business hours; processing orders received via phone, fax, or electronically and coordinating order fulfillment and invoicing with MML Finance & Operations; meets regularly with supervisor to review orders and work process to ensure customer satisfaction; work will be done in-person at the business location specified by supervisor; may be required to work remotely due to unforeseen issues (i.e. acts of nature).
Position Responsibilities
Maintains customer accounts, pricing, and selection of inventory.
Processes purchase order to fulfill customer orders.
Ensures timely dispatch of shipment documentation and timely notification to customers of shipment schedules and potential advances or delays in shipments.
Ensures the correct product, quantities and lots are shipped to arrive when expected.
Work regularly & efficiently with Finance & Operations partners to coordinate all aspects of the order fulfillment process.
Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint/concern and determining root cause.
Selects and articulates the best solution to solve problems.
Expedites corrections or adjustment and follow up to ensure resolution.
Builds sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
Communicates with customers and colleagues through various channels.
Authorizes and processes customer returns and credit requests according to established guidelines and procedures.
Completes order documentation and processing according to established guidelines and ISO regulations.
Complete all other related duties assigned.

Qualifications
High School diploma or GED required.
Two (2) years of experience working with customer support. Preferred experience working in a Life Sciences company.
Experience with shipping medical products.
Experience using a Computer (MS Office Suite).
Experience using ERP/order entry platforms/digital call center phone systems.
Excellent verbal communications and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated attention to detail, and data entry accuracy.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, or sit at a desk to perform job responsibilities via phone, computer, or fax; see, talk or hear in a standard office environment and independently from remote locations; work after hours maybe required in the event that and order entry issues needs to be resolved in order to address customer needs.
