Job Description : General Responsibilities

Greet customers, take food and beverage orders, and in some cases expedite food order.
Correctly receives payment by cash, check, credit cards or gift cards in accordance with company policies.
Correctly issues receipts, refunds, credits, or change to customers in accordance with company policies.
Counts money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
Calculates total payments received during a time period, and reconciles this with total sales.
Assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints.
Maintains clean and orderly checkout area.
Always come to work with a clean uniform.
Periodic bathroom checks for cleanliness.
Prepare red sanitizing buckets and sanitize dining tables.
Be a team player—support and assist your fellow team members whenever possible.
Ask management for Chow Now tablet from safe, turn on tablet and be sure tablet is charged.
Alert kitchen staff of the arrival of a “to go” order placed via phone or Chow now.
Answering phone and taking phone orders.
Inputting Chow Now Orders in POS system.
Interacts with customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
Stocks display refrigerators, salad bar, and steam table neatly, accurately and efficiently.
Calling out orders and providing utensils, and drinks when asked.
Cleans tables and chairs, as assigned, by the start of each meal period.
Cleans equipment, as assigned, thoroughly and in a timely fashion.
Keeps floor in work or service area clean and free of debris.
Completes shift work, as assigned, timely and thoroughly in accordance with company standards.
Stock soda machine, beverage station, paper goods, etc.
Sweep and mop dining room and bathroom.
Throw trashes in dining room and bathroom.

Must have the ability to lift items weighing up to 25 pounds frequently.
