Job Description : Job Description—Customer Service Representative
Basic Purpose Our Client in Houston is looking for a Customer Service Representative to assist with their laboratory
Duties and Responsibilities

Respond to inquiries and help answer phone calls
Interaction with clients and company personnel
Checking incoming vendor material packing lists, noting any discrepancies and accurately receiving products into inventory daily
Coordinating with freight forwarders, carriers, and customers to arrange on time order pickup.
Shipment data entry and inventory
Help with other various tasks as needed

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Basic Math skills
Strong multi-tasking skills
Team oriented
Basic Computer skills using Microsoft Excel and Word

Experience:

Will consider entry-level candidates who are eager to learn.
Knowledge of shipping, receiving, inventory, and terminology a plus, but not required if have worked in a laboratory setting

Education Requirement: Minimum High School Diploma or GED.

Work Schedule:

M-F 8 AM – 5 PM
Must be willing to work occasional overtime as needed.

Type of Assignment: Temporary to Hire
Pay Rate: $17+/hr LS123
