Job Description : TPI Staffing is Hiring for a Customer Service rep in NW Houston.This is a Temp-To-Hire position, starting at $18.00 – $20.00 per hour, working Monday – Friday from 8am – 5pm.

Duties and Responsibilities
Answer all questions, calls and emails in a timely mannerDemonstrates the skills and product knowledge required to perform job functions.Knowledge and use of electronic catalog and website.Ability to navigate AS400Able to articulate e-mail, fax, and verbally communicate in a clear and concise manner.Support Customer Care Operations from our dealers and team membersOrder Entry on a daily basis.Check order status/electronic ordersMaintenance of Showroom/calendarCheck inventoryProvide product information and pricingProcess credits, return authorizations and charge backs.Submit changes or cancellations on ordersTrack shipmentsResearch and resolve customer inquiriesInitiate freight claimsTruck buildingSchedule factory dropsUpdate customer experience center with relevant inquiriesAssists customers in showroom as neededParticipates in Literature Room inventory/order literatureReviews appropriate daily reportsDocument filingMonitor stock levelsFollow and adhere to department/company guidelinesOther duties as assigned
RequirementsSuperior verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to solve problems effectively and efficientlyStrong attention to detail, ensuring purchase orders are placed in a timely manner and any questions regarding purchase orders are handled properlyAbility to multi-task and adjust priorities dynamically to meet deadlines and changing goals
EducationHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience or military equivalent.
