Position : CWK Editorial Assistant

Job Description : This role will have responsibility for:
Checking proofs and tallying the corrections marked by the author and editor.
Follow-up with vendors for the titles assigned.
Analysis the manuscript as per the pedagogy of title and raise initial queries in case of any discrepancy.
Co-ordination with all stakeholders (inhouse team, vendor, author, freelancers) of the title.
Checking ferros and advance copies.
Essential skills and competencies:
Good knowledge of editing and proofreading
Knowledge of publishing process
Excellent written/verbal English communication skills
Knowledge of basic html
Organizational skills
Ability to work independently without direct supervision
Ability to work well within and across teams
Analytical nature
Time management skills
Ability to deal with deadlines and pressure effectively
Good knowledge of editing and proofreading
