We are currently looking for
Data Center Technicians for our Ft. Worth location, and we are willing to train the right person; someone with a high school diploma or equivalent and has two years customer service experience and attention to detail. This is a great entry level position for someone just getting started in the Data Center Technology field. No College Education Required!
Minimum Education and Experience
High school diploma and two years of related experience. Preferred Education and Experience

1 year of experience working in a data center or critical facility
Good communication skills – written and verbal
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
Previous experience with datacenter data and facility equipment
Ability to read engineering drawings
Electrical/Mechanical expertise
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

After training and mentorship, you will work as part of a team to support the day-to-day operations of our data center facility.

Data Center Technicians operate, monitor and support physical facilities conditions, rack and cable equipment. They inspect, maintain and repair various data center systems (such as piping, electrical, and mechanical system components). The Data Center Technicians read blueprints/schematics, conduct inspections of systems and assess their working order. Ensures that environmental and safety standards are consistently met, identifying problems and making repairs quickly. In emergency situations or abnormal conditions, they assist the lead technician in managing data center performance issues and outages to minimize the recovery time from failures.

Mandatory Testing and Daily Health Check:

In order to combat the spread of COVID-19 all UTD Faculty, Staff, and Students are required to:

Enroll in and complete a Daily Health Check each day, regardless of vaccination status.
Participate in the University’s mandatory COVID-19 testing program.

Newly hired employees will be automatically enrolled in University’s testing program. Thereafter, the University will test a sample of the UT Dallas community as part of its proactive testing program.

This is a full-time position with benefits.

We have positions open for both our second and third shifts:

Third shift: Thursday – Monday, Midnight to 8:00 am

*****This position is on-site and not eligible for remote work.
