Job Description : NSC is currently operating on a hybrid remote/office schedule.

Position Summary
The Data Entry Specialist will provide data entry support for both NSC’s Youth Career Readiness Program (YCRP) funded by WIOA (Workforce Innovative Opportunity Act) and NSC’s Health Access program funded by PA Refugee Health Program.
YCRP serves youth (16-24yrs) with or without credentials giving each participant access to employment, education, training, and supportive services to succeed in the labor market. The Data Entry Specialist is responsible for entering participant applications into the state database, CWDS, as well as inputting each service and incentive provided in a timely manner.
Within NSC’s Health Access program, the Data Entry Specialist is responsible for day-to-day data entry into the State’s eShare database of health screening data. The Specialist partners with the Health Access team, which gathers the eShare consent forms, records and the documentation from health clinics in order to input data into the system.
The Data Entry Specialist has internal contacts with NSC staff and clients as well as external contact with clinical partners only when necessary. This position has access to sensitive NSC information and is expected to handle such information with integrity and professionalism.
This is a Part-Time position scheduled at 28 hours per week.
Essential Functions
Youth Career Readiness Responsibilities:
Input essential services into CWDS state database
Perform quality assurance review of active participants within CWDS
Ensure participant data is updated and accurate every two weeks
Accurately identify service codes in order to enter into CWDS
Health Access Data Responsibilities:
Collect health-screening data from the Health Access team’s Clinic Liaison(s) to input into eShare on a regular basis and the corresponding client consent forms.
Work with the Refugee Health and INSPIRE Services Manager to ensure compliance with the State Refugee Program for eShare data entry.
Communicate with partner agencies about data due dates and quality assurance.
Ensure accurate data entry of the health screening data into eShare.
Keep and update internal resources in a timely manner to ensure proper record and data keeping.
Non-Essential Functions
Adheres to NSC’s security guidelines and ensures the appropriate handling of sensitive information.
Attends relevant staff meetings to promote communication and execution of goals.
Other duties as assigned within the scope of position expectations.
Requirements
COVID-Vaccine – NSC has determined that requiring that all staff who are working on site be fully vaccinated is the best way to protect our employees and the community.
Working in the office is required for the Philadelphia office and other locations as well as offsite travel when necessary, including to accompany clients to health appointments. NSC is currently operating on a hybrid remote/office schedule.

Knowledge and Skills
Understanding of health and wellness and survivor services’ departmental goals and objectives and ability to work and contribute as part of a larger team.
Demonstrates ability to manage multiple tasks by carefully setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and scheduling time efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data management.
Strong understanding of computer operations and use a variety of common software programs including Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and customized databases.
Ability to organize tasks in an efficient manner and follow-up and follow-through with strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrates ability to work with other people through a cooperative effort.
Possesses strong interpersonal skills as demonstrated by compassionate, courteous, cordial, cooperative, and professional interaction with diverse groups.
Adheres to all NSC policies and procedures.
Experience, Education, and Licensure
Minimum Experience: 0-6 months of experience handling light clerical, data entry, and operational support duties.
Minimum Education: High School diploma or some college preferred.
