Job Description : POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides support for electronic medical record data quality audits and analysis, coordinates medical record findings and requests related to amendments and corrections. Assists with statistical analysis in the area of quality compliance reviews. Responsibilities include utilization of Medical Records database systems for the identification of appropriate documentation and EMR formats.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associates degree is required, bachelor’s degree preferred (Health Information Management degree preferred) with 6 months minimum experience in Administrative and clerical duties (education may be substituted for experience). HIPAA knowledge and/or certification preferred.
