What will your job look like?
Handle and support Production and Non production Oracle Databases
Automate tasks using shell scripts.
Provide overall support and expertise on how best to leverage the Oracle DBMS and related tools and utilities for our test and production needs.
Responsible to plan and manage all database aspects including installations, patches, performance issues tracking and assignments.
Security and configuration management
Monitoring and tuning
Backup and recovery
Plan DB environment according to the project needs.
Manage all installation and configurations of customer databases.
All you need is…
Deep knowledge/exposure to Oracle DBA activities.
Worked on table partitioning, synonyms, sequences, views and indexes.
Worked with materialized views.
Able to handle Golden gate activities.
Good UNIX and PLSQL experience. Well aware UNIX commands using perl/sed/awk. Able to write good UNIX shell scripts.
Knowledge of backup and recovery.
Good Performance Tuning knowledge.
Database Space Management hands-on.
Troubleshooting on Databases issues.
Handle and support Production and Non production Oracle Databases.
Excellent communication skills – Verbal and Written (Chat/Bridge/Calls).
Ready to work in shifts and also support extended hours as needed by project.
Strong skills in trouble-shooting.
Good in Written (documentation) and oral communication skills.
