Position : Desktop Support Administrator
Job Description : The Desktop Support Administrator will deploy, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and replace hardware; including desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices. They will Install, license, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot, and uninstall software, and maintain documentation for software licensing. This work will be performed on multiple platforms including Windows, MacOS, iOS, and Android. They will assist with accounts and access requests for various SaaS applications and Active Directory.The Desktop Support Administrator conducts basic network troubleshooting for on-site and remote users, and may assess network issues pertaining to switches, connectivity, and network port patches. They may replace wireless access points, network switches, and other networking devices as required.Other components of the Desktop Support Administrator role include:
Training to stay abreast of new developments in the IT industry
Logging of service activity and documentation of work processes
Occasional travel to a remote site within Fort Worth to perform job functions
Assist AV Coordinator with events when needed
Assist Systems Administrator with monitoring and maintaining PCI compliance
