Through the newly established YMCA Managed Services Organization this is a unique opportunity to service and support the efforts and mission of the YMCA across multiple states and many associations. This is a fully remote position.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A DIRECTOR OF GRANT DEVELOPMENT:

Responsible for developing and writing high-quality grant proposals including narratives, budgets, financials, incorporating relevant and current statistics, and other supporting documentation.
Responsible for researching new grant prospects in partnership with grants team and ensuring alignment with current operational priorities, strategic plan, initiatives, and mission of customer YMCAs.
Responsible for maintenance of the annual grants calendar and managing high-volume workflow of grant writing, submissions, and reporting.
Coordinates with Y-USA on grant opportunities and writes grants that are available for multiple YMCA Associations.
Partners with customer YMCA’s finance and program managers to compile financials and data in support of grant applications.

REQUIREMENTS TO BE A DIRECTOR OF GRANT DEVELOPMENT:

Experienced leader with a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, financial development, communications, or public relations or related field. GPC and YMCA experience preferred.
Minimum of four (4) years of supervisory experience directing and leading a staff team.
Minimum of (3) years of recent experience in process improvement or project management required.
Prior experience with non-profit/social services organizations.
Successful track record in fundraising with an emphasis on grant writing and program development.
