About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on IT leader to oversee all aspects of our IT systems. The candidate will ensure that day-to-day operations, strategic projects, and everything in between is executed effectively. The Director of IT will combine their technical expertise, vendor management, project management, and strategic planning skills to ensure that Forever Oceans IT systems seamlessly support the company and its goals. This is an opportunity to improve and build our security and compliance strategy, our information management, and our overall infrastructure.
What Youll Do
Manage an international team of remote IT professionals supporting multiple locations around the globe.
Develop, implement and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security & risk management program.
Responsible for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of core IT processes including help desk support, change, and incident management.
Oversee the administration of all enterprise software such as email, file sharing, ERP, and CRM.
Manage and coordinate information technology infrastructure across all locations including points of presence, physical networking equipment, wireless communication devices, and cloud assets.
Author and implement appropriate corporate-wide IT policies.
Management and implementation of backup and disaster recovery plan and process.
Provide hands on support to the business on delivery of new and enhanced capabilities for supported products demonstrating understanding of business process and workflow to support adoption.
Ensures data safety and security on networks, systems, and applications.
Desired Experience:
Bachelors Degree in IT/IS Management, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
5-8 years experience leading an IT related department
Current Information Security Certification
Experience leading, managing, and coaching diverse, technical teams
Ability to work with remote/international teams; Spanish language skills are a plus
