Job Description : Muskegon Area Intermediate School District 630 Harvey St., Muskegon, MI 49442POSITION: Director of Technology ServicesThe Director of Technology Services manages and leads the day-to-day operations of the Technology Services Department. Manages technology services projects including, but not limited to, selecting appropriate software and hardware, trouble-shooting, creation of system documentation and scheduling of system upgrades.2. Oversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information.3. Devise and establish IT policies and systems to support the goals of the organization.4. Develops and implements business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations or data loss.5. Works collaboratively with providers to ensure the technology systems meet the needs of the MAISD Technology consortium.6. Supervises, supports and evaluates technology services staff.7. Leads and manages the Lakeshore Technology Consortium (LTC).8. Facilitates communication among technology services staff and coordinates administrative functions.9. Meets regularly with administration to provide progress reports and other information about department projects and goals.10. Facilitates communication between Technology Services and the county Technology Directors.11. Meets with and provides prospective customers with service proposals.12. Manages the Technology Services and LTC budget.13.
