Job Description : GROW (downtown Saugatuck) is hiring for the 2022 Season! We are most in need of a Friday and Monday daytime dishwasher over 18 (part-time or full-time) to begin the first week in April.We are also looking to staff for the season, so we welcome all part-time and full-time inquiries that could begin between 4/1 and 5/15.DutiesClean and sanitize dishes from dining room and kitchen, keeping up with continual flow during busy service in crowded and hot environmentPolish and Stock clean dishes, silverware, glassesKeep dish area clean and dry, including floors, surfaces, sinks, dishwasher, walls, shelvesSet up station at start of shift for organization and efficiencyBreak down station at end of shift, including but not limited to trash, linen, and recycling removal, sweep/mop, restocking all dishes, running mats, bus tubs, sani bucketsDaily deep-cleaning or organizational project assigned at the beginning of shiftANCILLARY DUTIESAssist kitchen with food prep tasks at beginning and end of shiftBreakdown and stock food deliveriesEXPECTATIONS#1 – ReliableHave access to consistent transportation for start/end timesBe able to effectively manage schedule through our online scheduling softwareOnce trained be able to autonomously carry out primary duties without need of management oversight#2 – Professional DemeanorRespectfully communicate with management and coworkersDress according to uniform standards and maintain a neat appearancePositive attitude and ability to perform tasks without negative reactionAssist co-workers when in need and contribute to the culture of teamworkQUALIFICATIONSIdeally, over 18Ideally, one year experience working in food serviceAbility to lift 40 LBS and stand on feet for several hours at a time***WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT CANDIDATE REGARDLESS OF EXPERIENCE***Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountFlexible schedulePaid time offPhysical Setting:Casual dining restaurantSchedule:Day shiftEvening shiftHolidaysMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityWork Location: One location
